Cradle/battery charing question
In
each case, quick charging seemed to reduce the life of the battery compared to slow charing it. I actually kinda did it experimentally. I have one device where I just left the AAs in it, it was a slow charger. For my other device I removed the batteries and put them in a quick charger.

how to jump start?
I do not plan on keeping this battery charing while I am using it. What I want to find is the least expensive way to charge this thing. I do not have power supplies capable of delivering odd voltages like 13.5 volts. I would like to use something like a 12-volt, 1 Amp supply to charge this if at all possible.

My battery isn't charing properly
(the battery is new) the most common reason is low battery voltage. Either the battery isn't charing properly, or it has a dead cell.
