Cradle/battery charing question
In each case, quick charging seemed to reduce the life of the battery compared to slow charing it. I actually kinda did it experimentally. I have one device where I just left the AAs in it, it was a slow charger. For my other device I removed the batteries and put them in a quick charger.

how to jump start?
I do not plan on keeping this battery charing while I am using it. What I want to find is the least expensive way to charge this thing. I do not have power supplies capable of delivering odd voltages like 13.5 volts. I would like to use something like a 12-volt, 1 Amp supply to charge this if at all possible.
